Satyamev Jayate 3, Episode 6: Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranut, Parineeti Chopra redefine the qualities of an ideal man
Satyamev Jayate 3 ended yesterday. Through all the episodes of the current season, the show managed to bring to fore the most thought-provoking and socially relevant issues.
For the finale episode, Aamir Khan brought up a really very important issue pertaining to the idea of #ARealMan in India. The host also mentioned that his team has been told that they always talk about women and their issues on this show and totally side line problems of men. So on public demand, Satyamev Jayate Season 3’s last episode was dedicated to Indian men.
Our so called patriarchal society has been following certain baseless ideologies that gives man the strange right to demonstrate their power on women. The strange concept of ‘boys don’t cry’ emerged from our country. All boys are brought up with ideals of being stronger than others, one of the major reasons why crimes are on a rise in India. Be it rapes, domestic violence, ragging or any other crimes, men are always the main culprit in such issues.
